The art of global
Our Commercial Finance business has now been in the USA
for over four years and has an unblemished record with $700m
of commitments amongst 20 clients. We have a mandate to
grow our client base, with a focus on global businesses with
operations in North America, UK and Europe.
Lloyds Banking Group, formed following the acquisition of Halifax Bank of Scotland by Lloyds TSB, is now one of the top 20 global banks, and has committed to lend substantial funds in 2009 and 2010.
Simon Featherstone, MD Commercial Finance confirmed
“Our North American business has grown well since being
established and we are now supporting further growth in line
with the Bank’s strategy of supporting businesses through
the challenging economic cycle. I have met some of our key
American contacts and look forward to working with you in the
coming months as, under Jeremy’s leadership, we take our
business to the next level”.
Jeremy Harrison, Head of Commercial Finance ABL, based in
New York commented ”North America is an important market
both globally and to Lloyds Banking Group, our strategy here
is to increase hold levels, where appropriate, and work closely
with our strategic partners in completing more transactions”.
