Huntington Bank: Gregory A. Steve
was appointed as senior vice president, marketing manager for Huntington Bank’s Asset Based Lending
Group. Steve will be responsible for
overseeing all marketing and business
development for Huntington’s asset-based lending activities across the
bank’s footprint. Steve will be based in
Pittsburgh and has over 20 years of financial services experience in private
equity, asset-based lending, commercial lending, credit management and
Lloyds Banking Group ABL Group:
Jeremy Harrison, who has headed the
Group for the last four years in North
America, has returned to the UK to
take up a new role within Commercial
Finance UK in Lloyds’ Client Services
Team, based in Southern England.
Harrison is not being replaced at
present, but LBG will continue to have
a strong ABL presence in the North
American market place through the
team of Joel Keating, Cynthia Marinos
and Prapti Basnet.
Maple Trade Finance Inc.: Carole-Ann
Miller, president, has been named as a
2010 winner of the prestigious Women
of Excellence Award in the Entrepre-neur/Innovator category. These elegant
awards, the only ones of their kind in
Atlantic Canada, are made annually by
the Progress Club of Halifax in recognition of outstanding achievements in the
various categories. Miller is the founding
and incumbent president of Halifax-based Maple Trade Finance Inc.
Merchant Financial Corporation:
Michael P. Behuniak has been hired as
a SVP and account executive/business
development officer. Most recently, he
was a senior relationship manager at
HSBC Bank and previously was a VP at
GE Capital. Behuniak brings 23 years
of banking, asset-based lending and
factoring experience to Merchant.
PNC: Brent Mathews has been appointed
vice president, responsible for business
development and for sourcing asset-based
loans for middle-market commercial borrowers in New England, based in Boston.
Mathews brings to PNC seven years of experience in the finance industry, previously
with KCP Advisory Group, CIT and GE Capital.
The Porter Capital Corporation: Sal
Trupiano was promoted to chief operating officer & senior vice president.
Trupiano joined Porter Capital in 2008.
His extensive experience in the factoring and asset-based lending industry
is invaluable in assisting Porter Capital
clients across the U.S. obtain the best
financing option for their business.
RedRidge Finance Group: Joel Frederick was appointed director in the
Northwest. Frederick has over 10 years
of experience in the corporate finance
industry during which he has developed a significant level of experience
dealing with complex transactions,
financially distressed companies as well
as working with companies in start-up
and turnaround situations. He has originated and managed over $100 million in
asset-based transactions in his career.
Most recently, Frederick came from
Bridge Finance Group where he was
recruited to build relationships within
the banking financial institution sector to consult with and offer middle-market businesses solutions in order
to meet the wide range of financing
needs of their C&I customer base.
