MorrisAnderson: Kelly Beaudin Stapleton, managing director, is a Finalist in
the “Best Executive–Service Business”
category of the Stevie Awards for
Women in Business. More than 1,200
entries were submitted this year for
consideration in 54 categories honoring women executives, entrepreneurs
and the companies they run. Stapleton
was recognized for charting an inspiring course for women in business
and achieving success in her demanding professional obligations, while
remaining committed to public service
and the care of her family.
On December 1, the Chapter held its
final educational event in its quarterly
series for 2010. The program, “When is it
time to call the Turnaround Consultant?”
focused on various aspects of identi-
fying and working through difficult
turnaround situations. Because of their
success in 2010, the Quarterly Education
Events will continue in 2011.
The Annual CFA/TMA Atlanta Holiday
Party took place on December 9. As in
the past, the event was held at the Cobb
Energy Performing Arts Centre in the open
atrium utilizing the Grand Lobby, Mez-
zanine Lobby and Grand Tier. The recep-
tion began on the first level, followed by
dinner on the second level. The third level
hosted dessert, an open bar and plenty of
networking. All three levels open into the
atrium with a three-story glass wall look-
ing towards downtown Atlanta providing,
attendees spectacular views.
On December 2, the Baltimore-Washington Chapter was joined by the
Chesapeake Chapter of the Turnaround
Management Association for their Annual Holiday Event. This year’s party was
held at the Camden Club in Baltimore.

Agran served as the primary financial
advisor during the turnaround process.
