Pugh represents lenders, private
equity portfolio companies and
corporate borrowers in commercial
finance transactions across a broad
variety of industries, including health
care and technology. His practice
includes structuring, negotiating and
documenting complex debt financ-
ing transactions, such as syndicated
senior credit facilities, asset-based
loans, second lien loans, acquisition fi-
nancings and other leveraged finance
transactions, mezzanine financings,
and ESOP financings. Pugh joined the
firm from Sheppard, Mullin, Richter
& Hampton, where he was a partner.
He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law
School and his undergraduate degree
from Dartmouth College.
Simonetti focuses on the defense
of complex litigation, including class
actions, mass actions and regula-
tory investigations and enforcement
actions. Simonetti represents a wide
array of financial services companies,
including credit card issuers, mort-
gage lenders, e-commerce compa-
nies, automotive finance companies,
national banks, student lenders and
savings and loan associations. She
was previously a Partner at Stroock &
Stroock & Lavan. Simonetti received
her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los
Angeles and her undergraduate degree
from the University of California, Los
