Chapter 25th Annual Golf Invitational at
the Geneva National Golf Club. A shotgun
start was at 10: 30 a.m., followed by a 4: 30
p.m. reception & dinner. There was also

On August 6, the Chapter held its Summer
Social Event at Centennial Lakes Park in
Edina. Centennial Lakes Park offers the
ultimate urban escape featuring paved
pathways meandering around a 10-acre
lake interspersed with beautiful landscaping. Guests arrived to beautiful weather
and were treated to food and beverages.
With the success of this first summer
social event, the Chapter will be considering hosting one next summer. October 22,
the Chapter will present Economist Toby
Madden of The Federal Reserve Bank of
Minneapolis. On December 17, the Chapter
will hold its CFA Minnesota Holiday Social
and Member Drive. The event will be held

On July 30, the Chapter had its 4th Annual
Beach Event at the Windows on the Water
at Surfrider Beach Club in Sea Bright, NJ.
The event was well attended and began
at 5: 30 p.m. Guests were treated to a surf
and turf dinner on the beach. On October
14, the Chapter will have an event with
Sam E. Antar (former CFO of Crazy Eddie).

The Chapter held its 2014 Summer
Rooftop Networking Event and Hudson
Whiskey Tasting at the Perfect Pint
rooftop in New York, NY on August 13.
Guests were provided with drinks, hors
d’oeuvres, barbecue and a special tasting
with Hudson Whiskey, which is the first
whiskey distillery in New York State since
Prohibition. The event was very well
attended with a good mix of young and
