On July 30, The Chapter’s YoPro! Board
held a “Brews and Business” event with
Second Self Beer Company in Atlanta to
network and take part in an exclusive
discussion with brewery management to
learn about the challenges of founding
and growing a brewery in the local beer
industry. This fun and educational event
featured a brewery tour and discussion
with management, six beer samples per
person and time to network with YoPro!
colleagues. A light dinner was provided.
The Chapter held an event on August
20 with guest speaker Erick Erickson, a
politically conservative American blog-ger and editor-in-chief of RedState.com,
at the Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead
in Atlanta, GA.
The Chapter’s annual tennis event will
be held on September 9 at Bridgemill
Athletic Club and the Chapter’s golf
outing will be on October 6 at Rivermont
Country Club in Alpharetta, GA.

the Future of Factoring and Asset-Based
Lending” on July 28 at The Palm Restaurant in Charlotte with Terry M. Keating,
executive vice president at Accord
Financial Inc. Keating is responsible
for leading all aspects of the growth
and expansion of Accord in the United
States. Prior to joining Accord in March
of 2014, he spent more than 25 years
in the specialty finance industry in a
variety of roles.
On August 25, the Chapter held “From
Worst to First” with Dan Rajkowski, executive vice president, chief operating officer of the Charlotte Knights. Rajkowski
has held his current title since November 30, 2012. Before that, he spent seven
years as the club’s vice president and
general manager. The event was held at
